Breech Baby Workshop – Gentle Techniques to Encourage Optimal Baby Position

Next workshop is on Jan 17 from 11am to 12.30 pm IST Led by Charumathi S, a Certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and Childbirth Educator, this workshop combines expert guidance, practical exercises, and partner support to promote optimal fetal positioning for a smoother labor and delivery.

Who Is This Program For?

Ideal for mothers 24–36 weeks pregnant with breech or transverse babies, seeking safe techniques for natural alignment and confident birth preparation.

Types of Breech – Frank Breech: Baby’s buttocks present first, legs extended upward toward the head. Complete Breech: Buttocks present first with knees bent and feet near the buttocks. Footling Breech: One or both feet are positioned to come first.

Why Breech Happens – Low amniotic fluid, uterine shape or fibroids, multiple pregnancies, premature birth, or limited fetal movement and posture habits can contribute to a breech position.

Optimal window to start gentle exercises and positional strategies for turning the baby.
Exercises can still help, though effectiveness may vary depending on fetal position and space in the uterus.
Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any exercise for safety and personalized guidance.
