Types of Breech – Frank Breech: Baby’s buttocks present first, legs extended upward toward the head. Complete Breech: Buttocks present first with knees bent and feet near the buttocks. Footling Breech: One or both feet are positioned to come first.
Why Breech Happens – Low amniotic fluid, uterine shape or fibroids, multiple pregnancies, premature birth, or limited fetal movement and posture habits can contribute to a breech position.
